Language Arts: Students will decode homographs, learn new spelling words that are homographs, work with informational text, learn about prepositions and prepositional phrases, and learn how graphic features support a purpose.

Math: Students will sort and record data into a table using up to four categories, use category count to solve word problems, and draw and label a picture graph to represent data with up to four categories.

Social Studies: Students will identify the significance of stories that are a part of the American cultural heritage and how they can be shared through stories, songs, and folk tales.
