Language Arts: Students will decode words with short vowels, discuss setting, have a proper pencil grip, and learn how to collaborate with others on their writing.

Math: Students will add and subtract like units.
IXL: J.2

Science: Students will classify matter by physical properties including temperature, texture, flexibility, and if it is a solid or liquid.

4. Click “Learning”
5. Click “Math” or “Language Art”
6. Click “2nd Grade”
7. Work on any items that have a star next to them
**Students are expected to work in both the Math and Language Arts portion each day they are not in attendance at school.**

This marks my tenth year as an educator. I have taught second & fourth grade. I graduated from Angelo State University in San Angelo with both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.

I met my husband, Tanner, in 2010 & married in 2015. We have two sweet baby girls who are 4.5 years old and 9 months old. We love to travel & spend time with family.
